if you you have never taken an online class before and want to spend a little time with some big learning opportunities then this is for you.

April 5 - Looking at some ways to add fun and interest to your nesting stitch books, scrolls and fabric book covers, needle books and cloth bags? Today’s class will offer a treasure trove of delight and magic! Expect to learn about supplies, constructing and creating with threads, dyes, paints, cloth, paper and more.
April 12 - Cyanotype - Cloth and Paper for books, collage and mixed media. How, what and when!?! Indigo blue with photo processes and the sun. This class offers construction ideas for books, shrines, reliquary, collage, shadow boxes, book boxes and surprises!
April 19 - Coffee filters, tea bags, dryer sheets and silk organza. Oh, my this is going to be a fun filled session of ephemera transparency pages, windows and doors for book covers, pages and canvas pieces.
April 26 - Gelli plate, blenders and other techniques for image transfers, textures, text, colors and patterns. Storytelling tools for cloth and paper page art, cards, covering objects that hold personal possessions and treasured keepsakes.
May 3 - Easy paper making projects that don’t require special equipment and provide surprising surfaces for book papers, stitch foundations and more. How to create paper, add inclusions, colorants. Learn about Joomchi, western paper making all while being able to get questions answered so that you can leave the class ready to make sheets from the very simplest techniques to felting papers with Joomchi.
This series will meet on Zoom. Registrants will be provided with meeting details for class entry. Please become familiar with Zoom applications before class. This will provide for a more relaxing experience at class time. Note taking suggested.
The class is a lecture series with hands on demonstrations, examples and time for answering questions. The class will be recorded for viewing at a later time.
