All of the classes in this series will meet on Zoom. Registrants will be provided with meeting details for class entry and a simple list of supplies to create with. Supply purchases prior to class is optional. Please become familiar with Zoom applications before class. This will provide for a more relaxing experience at class time. Note taking suggested.
This is a fun hands on class with image slides and live interaction. Participation during class is up to each individual. A lot will be covered beyond the images shown here.
In this two session course learn how to create unique painterly monotype prints and collagraphs.
Class time covers how to create carborundum prints, work with recyclables, sandpaper, textiles, and plant materials and other items to create tonal and textural effects on paper.
Explore the inking process and how to hand rub and pull prints in your home studio or classroom. Finished prints make nice gifts, papers for book covers and signatures and pages for handmade books.
Examples from plate to finished print and the processes will be shard.
